To start off I was a 100% straightNursing
To start off I was a 100% straight A student before this program. I am competitive and I always aim to be the best that I can be! AU's nursing program has many kinks to work through before it will be good. The classes are constantly changing from one year to the next but certain teachers that should have been fired still remain after years of horrible IDEA student ratings. Some of the faculty is incredible but these are sometimes overshadowed by the ones who wish to weed out students and prove that they are better than others - the classic eat their young types. One professor chose several 1hour and 30min class periods to scream at the entire class to be adults but then the next week she chose to sit at the back of the room and scroll through instagram writing on her fashion blog instead of listening to the presentations that groups had worked all semester on. Another professor's response to additional answer choices on a test was to say that similar choices were placed there to "trick you." AU's nursing program is literally just two years of trying to figure out how to come out alive with a somewhat functional gpa because the traditional "tests" that are supposed to be there to "test" your knowledge are really a game that the professors play to see who can have the most B's and C's in their classes. One professor told the clinical instructors for her class that they were never allowed to give the students 100's on their care plans. There is no logic to it and there were so many tears. Change your major or don't go here and ENJOY your college experience.

Question
Run away if you are planning to enterQuite BrightNursing
Run away if you are planning to enter nursing. The teachers are brutal. They're goal seems to be to destroy your high gpa. Seriously. Most everyone who gets has a high gpa and is smart. I worked my a** off and still got B's. Before nursing I had ONE B ever. I hate the teachers - they know nothing about teaching - when you have an A in the class before the final, it should be nearly impossible to get a B from the addition of the final exam grade. But not here. They are completely cold and mean. They really don't care about you. It is totally designed to f*** up your gpa and "weed out" people. But, duhhh, the people in nursing are the smart ones. They're ruining their own program. I hope it fails b/c honestly once you get through this program, I can't see anyone recommending it to even one person. I literally had a 94 in a class before the final, got 81 on the hardest test ever and got a f***in B in a 6 credit course. FU Anderson Nursing.

Question
The nursing program at Anderson University is aSuper BrilliantNursing
The nursing program at Anderson University is a crap show. Disorganized and not well thought through. Professors are very sweet, but they do not stick to their own standards, expectations are constantly shifting and cloudy, tests are often arbitrary, poorly worded, and riddled with spelling, grammar, and content errors. The content errors are rarely corrected. If I could transfer without losing credits, I would. Do not go to nursing school here.
