WELCOME

to MacEwan!
MacEwan is the right place for you if you want:
- a personalized experience, where faculty with outstanding credentials take time to interact with you and share new knowledge.
- a responsive education, one that adapts to the ever-changing job market and is flexible to your needs as a student.
- an education that works, one that will open doors in the job market and give you the foundation for further studies.

In just over 30 years, MacEwan has grown to become Western Canada's largest college. We serve over 40,000 learners and offer more than 70 certificate, diploma, applied degree and university studies programs.

What makes MacEwan Different?
We encourage small class sizes, so you can have one-on-one interaction with faculty. You get extra attention that will spark creative ideas and new ways of thinking.
We make sure our programs work. We're connected to the community to ensure our programs will give you the skills you need to be successful. Our approach integrates hands-on practise, labs, workshops, group work, on-the-job placements and innovative teaching approaches. The result is a student-centred learning experience.
We hire quality faculty. Our instructors are well respected in the community and in their fields. They come to MacEwan because they love to teach and want to inspire and ignite imaginations.
We keep tuition fees reasonable. We make sure we are smart with our resources, so we can keep tuition fees affordable.
We know education doesn't just happen in the classroom. A post-secondary education should be an experience, one that gives you an opportunity to encounter new things and meet new people. So MacEwan strives to offer it all - competitive athletics, art shows, theatre productions, international student events, clubs, Students' Association activities, and much, much more.
We get results. In 2003, 94% of our grads found jobs within six months of graduation. We also have Canada's largest and Alberta's most successful university transfer program, so it's no wonder 94% of our students are satisfied with the quality of their education at MacEwan.
