. Mary’s University College is a Catholic, post-secondary, student-focused liberal arts and sciences teaching and research institution. Through the synthesis of faith and reason, the College invites and challenges all individuals of the community to become compassionate, thoughtful, and resourceful members of society. Members of St. Mary’s University College community strive to provide the most intellectually stimulating learning environment possible.At St. Mary’s the following programs of study are available: university transfer, degree programs, and programs for religious educators. The Bachelor of Arts degrees are offered as three or four year programs. A Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in English and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in General Studies can be completed over three years. St. Mary’s also offers a four-year Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English. University transfer courses are available in over twenty academic disciplines.
The sense of community is a defining characteristic of the College. Students have the opportunity to participate in campus ministry, campus recreation, wellness programs, and social justice initiatives.
The campus is located adjacent to Fish Creek Park in south Calgary and is easily accessed by public transportation. Campus tours can be arranged at anytime of the year through the Admissions Office.
