Question
So I went to American from 99-01 andCommunications
So I went to American from 99-01 and transferred and was in SOC....got waitlisted at GW got into Tulane but was disallowed from going etc. Everyone I knew wanted to transfer, my ex-gf and almost wife went to Tufts, my friends transferred to Cuse and UVA and Kentucky and Fordham and Wesleyan etc. The culture at American has always kind of sucked and if you read this you know it's fucking true. I would tell anyone that if you have to go to school in DC and your grades are kind of off then yeah AU. I am not sure GW was amazingly better and I did kind of like the area around American a bunch (even Friendship Heights go rich malls!). But I would say easily 33-50% of the school thinks about or does transfer and it's the people you like who do it. You went here and am reading this, you know I am not telling a lie. You pretentious dipshit. American just kinda sucks. If you go here you know, the frat and sorority scene was kinda wack and all my friends did it and they seemed happy or they died. American is at best an okay school but it doesn't really value education it's about those fucking interships. The culture at this school doesn't change, it's alternately deeply pretentious and nerdy and unfun (not even nerdy fun). You get into Tulane or Boston U go there. Boston does suck so if you love dc, I get it with American. Be warned, everyone EVERYONE or half the school wants to transfer. And they do, usually back home to state schools or they try to level up or equal (GW Tufts Tulane UVA)
