The instructors were kind, helpful and knew theirEnglish
The instructors were kind, helpful and knew their subjects well. The students were something else. I've never had my Christian faith (Mennonite) so ridiculed as at Trinity Western University and I've been to several universities since then, including UBC, SFU, McGill and the U. of Toronto. Atheists that I encountered at those universities were more respectful of my faith than the students at TWU. I also was exposed to what I considered, and still do consider, to be blasphemy at the TWU hootenanies, where the cross was held up and mocked. I never saw that at a secular university. Finally, the dorm life was dreadful since students shared dorm rooms (something I never encountered elsewhere). In my third year, I was paired with a woman who had a girlfriend with whom she made out on her bed. It got to the point that I was hesitant to walk into my own room without knocking on the door first.

Question
I'm going to be really honest here.BrightOther
I'm going to be really honest here. I wanted to have nice things to say about this school. I came here because I wanted to be in community with other Christians but completely feel like I was let down. Most students here seem like fake Christians and if you don't act like the world revolves around you, you're nobody. Some of the profs are nice and want to see you succeed but some of the TAs and other faculty don't even treat you like a human. I'm just at a loss for words on how my experience has been so far and I've barely been here that long. I have never felt more isolated, alone, outcasted and mistreated anywhere else in my life before and this community is supposed to represent the kingdom of God... Aside from all of that, I think for that type of experience the cost to come here is way too high. Im definitely going to a different school next year.

Question
The school is a joke, the tuition isBrightKinesiology
The school is a joke, the tuition is through the roof, they gouge the students with fees in any way they can, and the students there are incredibly snobby. For being a "Christian" university, both the staff and students are not very christian. And the classes are a joke. I would not recommend this university to anyone. Not worth the time or money, whatsoever.
