I graduated in August of 1989. I was barley 19 years old. I left Nashville with ambition and confidence I had never felt before. I also wondered what lie ahead. Once into the work force I quickly learned how VALUABLE my hard work and diploma from NADC was to me. It opened doors that would have been closed without it. I actually was turned down for a job and by the time the employer read that I was a NADC graduate and saw my diploma I was hired on the spot.....and with the quote "OH! You went to NADC and graduated!" I had many offers for employment simply because of my diploma.

The training I received while at NADC gave me the confidence to tackle ANY project or job. It still does to this day. I was trained to think things out and pay attention closely. This the main reason to my success in business today.

To any high school grad that is looking into graduating Nashville Auto-Diesel College (notice I did not say attending...because my recruiter told me before I was accepted that NADC in 1988 they wanted graduates and not attendees.) I will offer this advice. This your future, it is what you make of it. There is no time to play around and be distracted from what is at hand. Work hard and study EVERYDAY your phase books and obtain the highest phase test scores. The scores from each phase and your average ARE look AT VERY CLOSELY when applying for jobs. The short time you are in college is NOTHING...compared to what you are going to receive later in life from this education. APPLY yourselves and always be on time and have perfect attendance.
This college is not a party college. It prepares you for the industry you are going to enter. You will look back in years to come and realize JUST how well NADC has prepared you and you WILL draw from EVERY aspect of your training the rest of your life.

Just remember.. stay focused, work hard, and study EVERYDAY. Learn the material in the phase books....dont just memorize it...KNOW IT!
