Classes I adored:AverageArt & Design Department
Classes I adored:

Package design, typography 1&2 (O'Brien)
Digital Illustration, web design (Meredith)
Color theory, photography.
I was challenged in the classes.
I wish I had known that there is a lot of fine art classes that have to be taken before one can get to the actual design classes, but I have read it is also like this at art schools. (they do have them listed, I just did not realize what they meant. for example, studio 1, 2 and 3 all fine art classes).

The graphic design professors are great. nice, helpful. Fine art professors are less nice but helpful.

Everything you create could be put into a portfolio to get a job in a few years, so put effort in and apply for internships.

We went on design field trips. one teacher brought creative directors into the classroom to tell us about the company/real world. There is a LU gallery you can apply to work in.

Bible Professor are amazing, encouraging, helpful, know you by name and wave and talk with you after that semester. Loved the Bible classes, they really added to my faith as well as Chapel. So uplifting to go and get to sing every week and hear a dynamic message for a few minutes 2 times a week. SO many people complain about chapel, and I did too the first year, but they really stepped up their material 2018-- and are putting out faith message related to what everyone is going through. So helpful.

Everything is what you make it. Everyone will find stuff to complain about from everything and even more so when spending way too much money and having high expectations.

Question
There are good things about this school, mostlyBrightBiology
There are good things about this school, mostly that the professors are really down to earth people and I have liked most of mine. However, a lot of the staff members here are rude to you no matter how nice you are to them and act like they'd rather be somewhere else. Also, a lot of the students themselves can be rude. None of the clubs are really interesting and I have yet to find one I would even consider joining. Overall, this school has not been a place I want to be which is why I have decided to leave (thankfully) after freshman year. Hopefully others have had a better time here but for myself, it has been a nightmare.

Question
Honestly, the nursing program at Lipscomb is justQuite BrightNursing
Honestly, the nursing program at Lipscomb is just not there yet. They are very disorganized but they are getting there. I do believe in a few years they will be where they should be as far as being organized and having the right qualified teachers teaching the classes but as of right now, they just are not. The nursing staff get defensive when students critique the program or certain classes and until they realize that the students just want the program to be better and they let their defensive spirit down, the program won't improve. The school overall isn't too bad but it definitely has a feel of rich people and closed minded, stuck in their religious way type of people.
