Oh man, I just BS'd the application a weekJun 27 2016Art & Design Department
Oh man, I just BS'd the application a week after the deadline and got in with a 2.7 GPA. I wasn't even going to apply until I got denied by Purdue and IU. If you have a pulse, you will get in. Bonus points if you're a minority, they try way too hard to look diverse even though they're in the most backward, white part of the north.

I wanted to teach the Deaf community and thatNov 11 2014Education
I wanted to teach the Deaf community and that is the only reason I transferred here to Ball State. I recommend that freshman understand the program they are going to get into right away. And do not expect a person to help you register for your classes. They will tell you to do it yourself. I also would say that transfer students to not even bother to come here. They treat you horrible.

I originally applied for Music Comp (failed 2 auditions, decided to be an Eng. major), but aside from fine arts majors the application process is pretty straightforward. Make sure you take the SAT or ACT, since that's required if you're less than 2 years out of high school.

Basically, if you do well in high school and pass the SAT/ACT, it's hard *not* to get into BSU.
