My high school was partnered with the college soAug 24 2017Communications
My high school was partnered with the college so I came on a scholarship. You either need to have a lot of money, a high ACT/SAT score or very good grades. They want to know that you can live up to their academic standards and actually graduate.

I found Alma by accidentDec 23 2014Psychology
I found Alma by accident. It was kind of crazy because I originally went in for music performance. If you want to get in, just talk to them. Get good grades because the higher your grades and ACT score, the better your financial aide package. I entered with a 2.9 GPA and a 26 ACT and got what's called the Tartan Award. That's only 14,000 a year. That's a lot for some schools, but this is a 44,000+ a year school. Work hard and it'll be worth it.

Also, never be afraid to talk to people on campus. If you're interested in a subject, don't just take a tour with admissions. They lie. Talk to professors. Especially if you're interested in the arts. See if you can stay the night or get a private tour.

Good luck!

It was unbelievably easy to get into the collegeMar 04 2014Music - Performance
It was unbelievably easy to get into the college. In fact, they probably will beg you.

I filled out the applicationApr 26 2011Biology
I filled out the application. Took the ACT. They let me in. My GPA was a 3.8 in high school and my ACT was 29.

Why do you want to go to school here? Its 36,000++ a year and rising - unless you have a full ride scholarship.

The student life is exclusive - you will be lacking for friends if you do not get into a sorority or fraternity. (pay for friends) And do not go to the Frat houses for parties, I have been rupied at least twice.
ACT: 29 Female
