Application and admission is an easy processFeb 26 2013Physics
Application and admission is an easy process. The admissions counselors are very friendly and eager to make everything as simple as possible

I dropped out of highschool, took the GED and ACT. Because I dropped out, they brought me in for an interview, which I felt was very fair. As a result, I got in. Financial aid was a bit difficult (but those poor people have SO MUCH to do I can hardly blame them for snapping at us) but other than that, I just had to 'prove' myself, essentially.

I wrote an essay on an MLK quote. They give you a few options for what to write on: choose the one that corresponds to your personality and the way you write. You're sure to get in.

I got my boss to write me a recommendation. Or else have an English teacher do it, if you're a good writer. Or theatre or music, if you're good at that.

My friend got in with an ACT score of 20 and a GPA of 3.1. He was a really smart kid, he just graduated early, so took the ACT as a sophomore. And he screwed up his freshman year, so his GPA wasn't his greatest. C of I understood and took him as an intellectual. I had a 28 on the ACT and a GPA of 3.4 (I screwed up freshman year, also) and received A LOT of financial aide. Don't be intimidated by the tuition costs! Being an average student, it should average out to be the cost of any other university. If you're exceptional, it could be very well free.

Well, I suppose a just had to applyFeb 06 2007Political Science
Well, I suppose a just had to apply. To get scholarships I had to do special applications, interviews etc, and my grades and test scores had to be high enough. I recommend taking challenging classes in highschool and coming to the school to check out campus.
