I applied early so I could get academic scholarshipsMar 24 2014Political Science
I applied early so I could get academic scholarships. It worked out the way I wanted it too. They could care less about your grades, family, and in some cases criminal history, they just want your money. If Lenin and Marx ever needed an example of what capitalist greed looked like, look at the heads of ACU. I get it, it is a business and no one is forcing me to go here. I am fine with them making money. I am not ok with the way they let the campus look like crap, the internet stinks, the dorms are borderline illegal when it comes to living standards, and they force you into classes like Core, which takes up a lot of time and sets you back in hours if you try to transfer, making it more difficult for you if want to transfer. It is almost like a penalty if you try to leave.

I just appliedOct 07 2011Language - French/Spanish/etc.
I just applied. And visited the campus. and applied for a ton of financial aid because I really can't afford this school, but financial aid is really not available from ACU unless you are Church of Christ.
Before you decide to go to ACU, attend a very liturgical Church of Christ service, because you will have to go to chapel basically 4 times a week, and it gets kind of annoying singing super old songs I don't know and without instruments.
