I was a national merit finalist so I was automatically accepted. Applying and getting into Auburn wasn't hard for me at all, but I don't know what it would have been like if I had lower grades and scores in high school.

Graduated number 4 in a class of 100 from high school. Graduated with a 3.6 GPA and 60+ credit hours from a community college and transferred in. If I can give any advice to any high school or juco students looking to attend this university it's this. Appreciate your high school teachers or juco professors that drill ideas into your head and make sure that they stay with you long after the class is over. Be prepared to feel disappointment in yourself at your grades not being what they used to be unless you are in the top 3% of all the 25,000+ students. Auburn might have a beautiful campus and the people are relatively open and friendly, but don't expect to come out a more educated person unless you're a research minded student.
