Positive Negative Neutral Advice
If i could give this University negative reviewsBrightCommunications
If i could give this University negative reviews I would. This school will go out of their way to suck all the extra money out of you using the most nonsense excuses they can pull out of their behind. Giving parking tickets when they're not deserved, trying to covertly add in extra tuition fees (until I called and inquired why they were there, then they were removed), overcharging for textbooks and then fining you for returning them in the condition they rented out in (when it wasn't good to begin with). I mean the list goes on and on. I really can't think of any redeeming qualities about this university. The parking scene is a nightmare, the dining halls might be worse than high school cafeteria food, the academic advisors try to find ways to keep you in college longer than you need to be, there is no school spirit, the president is awful, the professors are pretty 50/50, some okay and some that are clueless and don't properly teach material, the facilities especially the gyms are garbage. I could go on all day but I'm not going to waste your time when I can simply say if you are a senior in high school scouting for colleges, I beg you for your own sake do not choose this school. Most people I talk to are on the same page as me and wish when we were choosing schools we didn't choose this scam/joke of a so called "University", more like a glorified community college but for triple the price.

Question
This school with try to take every nickelBrightOther
This school with try to take every nickel and dime you own. There are absurd fees for everything more than other schools since it is predominantly a commuter school. The staff will only direct you online. When the site for paying your tuition is down and you let them know they say I would still be responsible if for late fees rather than fixing the issue. If there is a way for them to penalize you with a fee they will. Like being in the school of business and paying a "business student fee" as well as "online fee" additionally to the other fees already included. Such a depressing school.

Question
Seriously, DO NOT GO HERE.BrightCriminal
Seriously, DO NOT GO HERE.
Looking for school spirit? We don't have it.
A tight-knit student body? Depends how many commuter students felt like coming to campus that day.
Want to get involved outside of going to classes? Nobody cares.
Trying to find a campus that's pretty and easy to navigate? Good luck, because literally everything is fenced off and under construction for the next 3 years.

And to top if off, this school could not care less about sexual violence on campus and the safety of its students. I was sexually assaulted on campus last semester and Mason police gave me a pizza coupon to make me feel better. Haven't heard from them since. Want more info on their total lack of empathy? Read this Huffington Post story: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/george-mason-university-students-brett-kavanaugh_n_5cb75ca6e4b081fd16924ff3?Mason is the fourth college I've attended (long story) and I'm graduating in a month and I'm honestly kind of depressed that George Mason University is the school that I'll be stuck with on my diploma for the rest of my life.
