Baylor University

A two week, intensive program for 9-12 grade students interested improving their critical thinking, research, writing and speaking skills. The workshop features instruction at the novice, intermediate and championship level of policy debate, Lincoln Douglas debate and Turner Controversy Debate.

Summer Scholars Program

Chestnut Hill College

Chestnut Hill College offers a High School Summer Scholars Program for outstanding Juniors and Seniors to encourage challenging intellectual work as early as possible in their academic careers. These courses offer transferable college credits (if course grade is C or higher) at a significantly reduced tuition rate. Students recommended to the Summer Scholars Program with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher can enroll in one or two college courses (up to 6 credits).

Archaeology Field School

University of Wisconsin - La Crosse

Participate in an archaeological dig in the La Crosse, WI area. Explore what it is like to work on small-scale excavations or survey, alongside professional archaeologists for 3 or 5 days, to see if archaeology is for you. Lab work may be included.
