High School Student Interns Needed!! The School of Education and Human Development is working to design and offer a one week summer science camp for children-Kids Explore! The program is designed as an enriching inquiry-based science experience for children in grades 1-7 and provides exposure to hands-on experiential learning. For example, the children will build robots, investigate pond animals, create websites, and otherwise take charge of their own learning. Kaleidoscope, summer program in the arts

Winthrop University Business School

"Serious Art for Serious Students" is the motto. Kaleidoscope is a two-week residential, co-educational program in the arts. Classes are offered in creative writing, dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. 100 students are selected to participate in this program. Evening performances/programs each night by outside groups and, later, by the students themselves. Outstanding faculty of teachers and professionals and small classes offer students the opportunity to explore and develop artistically. Students experience a strong sense of "family" over the two-week period and many return year after year. The tuition covers all costs associated with the program.
