Summer Research Fellowships in Chemistry and Biochemistry for High School Students

Project SEED Scholars are integrated into active research groups under the direction of chemistry and biochemistry faculty members at Cal State LA. The student selects his/her research adviser from among the faculty members in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and the nature and scope of the research project is arranged to suit the student's level and interests through consultation between the adviser and the student. Henry C. Lee College Criminal Justice/Forensic Science Camp

Students will gain real knowledge from expert professors and will also receive hands-on experience in crime scene investigation. Topics that will be covered include criminal investigation, fingerprinting, blood analysis, a field trip to the West Haven Police Department, and more.
