Tagliatela College of Engineering Engineering & Science Summer Institute for Young Women

The Summer Institute is a one-week, residential summer program offered by the Tagliatela College of Engineering at the University of New Haven. This experience has been designed for you! The Summer Institute gives you the opportunity to learn in a university environment and experience the excitement of working on an engineering or science project. You will work together in teams with a UNH faculty or staff member. The program will feature fun, exciting, hands-on activities in math, science, computers, engineering, and technology.

The Visual and Musical Arts camp at the University of New Haven will expose elementary school aged children to various art mediums in an all-day well supervised setting. Each day will include a variety of music and art activities administered by an experienced and professional staff of educators; recreational activities will also be incorporated into the schedule. Video Production Academy

This hands on video production camp is conducted in state of the art video and television production facilities. Students will learn the basics of shooting, lighting, sound recording and editing. Students will produce short films and videos of their own from start to finish. The creative process, organization of the production as well as technical skills will be covered. Summer Scholars Pre-college Program

George Washington University

The GW Summer Scholars Pre-College program is a 6 week residential program for accomplished high school students who have completed the 11th grade. The program seeks to provide advanced learning opportunities for students, through enrollment in a credit bearing course, and enrichment programs that promote understanding of the academic communities and resources that make up the college experience.
