I enjoyed my time at LLU.Radiological Sciences
I enjoyed my time at LLU. My fondest memories were heading over to the drayson center to swimming with my college buds. It actually inspired me to build our own backyard pool. I was an inspirational time in my life. -PAUL

Question
I am about to start my third quarterAverageNursing
I am about to start my third quarter at LLU's School of Nursing program. The #1 thing that I love about this school are the professors. They make every effort to know you, treat you as an individual, and remember your name long after you took their class. Most professors have an open door policy, and are there if you need help whether it's class related or not. Maybe it's the nurturing and loving spirit of nurses, but my professors were there during a difficult time in my life during first quarter, and they provided strength and support to me when I was a mess and feeling lost. One professor sat me down with a box of tissues and counseled me for almost an hour during an especially difficult time with family issues. Another one of the most caring and friendly professors would send us a text and request for you to make an appointment with her to review an exam and go over study tips if you received less than a 76% on one of her exams. Another one took our pictures on the first day of class and had us write our names on the back of the paper so she could study them and remember our names. If you receive less than a B in a class the following quarter you will be enrolled in a program that has a one to one nursing mentor who will meet with you every week to provide you with encouragement, advice, and help to assist you in accomplishing your academic goals. I could go on and on about how welcoming and kind they have been. They are personally invested in your success, and encourage you to speak up and be confident in class. Additionally, many of the professors have been teaching there for many years, and are not only extremely knowledgable in their field, they are eager to help cultivate the next generation of excellent nurses. Lastly, I love the program because of their clinicals. The school is right across the street from the ED of a level I trauma center, and as students we can access a wide variety of top-notch care facilities all within a few miles of the school.

Question
Loma Linda University School of Nursing is notQuite BrightNursing
Loma Linda University School of Nursing is not at all cracked up to what it claims to be. It is a religious school so you spend a lot of time being preached at. They live by their credo of making man hole and promoting health and wellness... well that is not for their students. They care less about their students. In the past year I have gained 20 pounds and have been to the gym probably 10 times. The faculty assigns so much busy work you will barely have enough time to clean yourself up. Some of the faculty make it close to impossible to be successful and will openly talk to you about quitting and not becoming a nurse. These faculty members are not Godly, and are in my opinion the devil incarnate (Dr. Zamora). If I could turn back time I would have attended a different school. The notoriety is not worth the stress induced ulcers and substantial student loans from attending this school.
