Scad promotes itself as an inclusive school with many foreign students, like myself, which is an insolent BIG lie. They could not care less. They definitely do not care about our safety. There are MANY RACIST STUDENTS who are violent and dangerous.

Last year, I had racist students pointed me with a gun, yelling "I can legally shoot you foreign bitxh", They bullied me, threatened me to death multiple times, defamed me, insulted me. This group of racist students KIDNAPED my emotional support dog! with the "excuse" that I am not an American citizen, therefore, the dog can't possibly be legally mine. They threatened to kill my dog too. Since day 1 of the kidnap, I started archiving all the evidence I had, screenshots, voice notes, pictures, recorded voice calls, Thinking that SCAD would do something about it... well they did NOTHING. These students are still attending school, they had NO CONSEQUENCES for their sickening behaviours.

I went to the conduct building and the man in charge said to me " things like this will keep happening" as if I have to get used to being a victim of racism. UNACCEPTABLE, DISGUSTING, IMMORAL, AND HIPOCRIT. Dear scad, don't promote inclusivity and diversity if you do respect it.

Question
SCAD was an awful experience from beginning toAveragePerfomance Arts
SCAD was an awful experience from beginning to end. Held out hope things would get better each quarter, but they never did. After two years I decided to just finish the experience and take what ended up being nothing more than a super cheap laser poorly printed diploma, On which they spelled my name wrong. From the lackluster classes, to the idiotic untalented and snotty student body and professional failures called professors, SCAD was just a terrible place to be and a waste of money and time. Other than learning that college is not what you used to be, SCAD did absolutely nothing to advance my knowledge in Professional Stagecraft, and often times the faculty and staff wold sandbag myself and others trying to advance the program beyond it's utterly dumb-downed High-School like level of instruction and presentation.
